Why the first release sets the rules
The first Exchange Drop was never meant to be safe. It was meant to be specific.
Exchange Drop No. 01 exists to establish a boundary: this program is about timing, not permanence. When a coffee makes sense now, we release it. When it doesn't, we don't. There is no backlog. There are no reruns.
This isn't scarcity theater. It's discipline.
We chose a small lot with a clear story and a narrow window. Once that window closes, the coffee becomes a footnote—documented, remembered, and unavailable. That's intentional.
If you missed it, you missed it. There will be another release. It will not be the same.
